Hello Everyone.
I decided to buy a Cambrian Models Elan 100" glider to pass a bit of time while i try and get my workshop sorted out.
From ordering to arriving with me was 4 days so not too bad and from the kit in the 80's to now it has a better picture of the Elan on the lid of the box which sets it off a treat.
Inside the box the kit looked great and all smaller parts and ribs are in bags which are sealed, the wood looks good and of the same grain and not different types like in a older kit i built. Looking at it, it would still make a good bungee model and slope soarer, not sure it's up to a winch launch, also could make a nice electric conversion soarer.
Comes with 2 sheet plans and a leaflet helping the build in stages, ply wood fuselage and built up wings.
So i will make a start in the next few days and see what you think
