Just a update on the Elan, it has now been converted to electric and had air brakes fitted and a removable tail sections.

Looking good JG.
Sometimes we develop better ways of achieving the same result / get a better result, when repeating a complex set of operations like building a model.
Have you done anything differently on this one?

Afternoon Jef, The person who has brought the model has had a nose tow release fitted, and electric spoilers, as wood wise the wing tips was made up of 2 balsa sheets and only went as far as the sheeting on the wing but i have changed it to a solid black and runs the length of the wing tip and cut 3 holes to lighten them up, wing tip spars are only balsa strips i changed them to spruce, think that's about it .... must say the colours i am not sure on yet if i like it or not but the buyer picked them

Just a quick update the Elan should be fully covered by the end of next week so watch this space

Evening Jef, Had the customer email this morning asking if he can collect today, still had the rear fins to cover and glue on, so that's where i have been this afternoon, but all done apart from fitting tow hook, inner snake push rods and servo horns. Will post some pictures after it's been collected
