Wow.This is good news ,I think. I dont know what it will do to the second hand prices of the original kits but its nice to know there will be spares available like canopys ,wings and fuz.Mine is still under construction, here is an old photo as it was advertised when I bought it.I have had it 2yrs now and still havent covered the wings yet.I am still undecided wether to put a wheel in it and an aero tow in the nose.Last year I had dirty thoughts about fitting my hacker A40 in it and 6s lipo but kept on looking at the nose and just could not bring myself to chop it off!. I have a Dart 15 underway as well but thats way behind this one.Attached is a pic for you all...Chris.

might take a while longer as I have just acquired another project. Its a 20yr old multiplex Ls3 glider.I am fitting wing servos and a tail (elevator) servo plus other mods too numerous to mention. Its took me the best part of 3 hrs to clean the canopy.I use Brasso as its cheap ,annoys the wife and does a good job of cleaning canopys. This vintage glider stuff is addictive. They are cheap to buy, well made and will out last any cheap chinese stuff over another 20yrs.Plus there is plenty of work to do and keep me interested.Oh....and ive installed a multiplex aero tow fixing ,hoping to tow this bird up within the next 10yrs. Chris.

If the LS3 project stalls, I know someone that would be happy to relieve you of it.

Hello everyone, I`m just curious, but did Pat Teakle ever produce a 1/5 scale Pilatus B4?
I`ve had a look on the link that JG mentioned at the start of this thread but its not showing there. I just seem to remember one many moons ago and thought it was one of Pat`s.
Cheers all Kev

Yes, this has come about because the original moulder John Hall (I think) is going to be doing the fus's again. He says that the moulds will not take an epoxy layup so they will be done on polyester again, but not sure why the prices have gone up,maybe he realised they couldn't be done for the initial cost.
