Best tool...
Big disc sander, bought at Machine Mart.
Keeps everything square. Hold the work well though, many of my parts for aeroplanes have gone flying too soon!

Also, in my shed workshop tool collection, and coming a very close second to the disc sander, a very neat little circular saw made by Proxxon. Superb for making strip balsa from sheet (the job for which I bought it), but also very useful for cutting liteply and even epoxy glass boards. I always make my own design horns and electric motor firewalls from the glassfibre boards and the Proxxon saw and disc sander makes shaping them much quicker.
Using MS Paint and TurboCAD on my laptop, I normally print onto paper whatever it is I am going to cut out, and stick that to the sheet (wood or glass) before cutting and sanding.
Just trying to get some conversation going here...

Hello jef, good quality stuff that proxxon brand. I had their bench drill, band saw and scroll saw years ago and like an idiot I sold it all (following a long illness). Really regret it now but there you go. Cheers for now Kev
