Hello Everyone.
Just wondering if we should have a Club Forum on here to let people know where there nearest flying club is or Flying Site ?

Hello JG, Could be worth a try. My initial thought was that generally those that fly from the slopes for example, often travel many miles from home to get to a good/popular location (Great Orme for instance-North wales).
Personally I have to travel between 40 mins and 1 1/2 hours each way to my slopes depending on wind direction. As ever, I think you`ll have to see what response you get.
To star the ball rolling, my `local` club/flying site is the Long Mynd Soaring association, Nr. Church Stretton. The other site I use is near the village of Sarn in Mid Wales. Is this the type of information you are after?
Cheers. Kev.

Hi guys,
Yes this seems like a sound idea.
I fly in the South East, based in Essex, but often travel to Ipswich (Suffolk), Tonbridge and Thurnham (Kent), Devil's Dyke and Firle (East Sussex?) and belong to four clubs - Damyn's Hall and Water Babies, EQFA & CIMA .
Damyn's Hall and Water Babies are based close to each other in the Hornchurch / Ockendon area (Romford postcode).
EQFA is based on Bartletts Farm in the Chelmsford postcode area. CIMA is based on Canvey Island.
Hope this helps,
Jef
