When you are trying to get the motor to stay still while aligning the mounting holes, if the nose cone is longer than your fingers, it gets pretty tricky. Here's a pictorial tip on how to do it the easy way... Obtain a pipe with the same internal diameter as the motor external diameter. In this case I had a 38mm motor and 38mm plastic waste pipe. Connect the motor to the ESC. Insert the ESC into the pipe. If the motor is going to slip in the tube, put a piece of tape around the motor, to prevent that from happening. Attachments:
