Hi all, my name is Phil May and live in South Wales where we are blessed with some fantastic slopes to fly from.
I was an I.c powered model flyer for 4 years before being introduced to the black art of sloping a couple of years back by a good friend of mine.
I quickly fell in love with slope soaring and soon sold my collection of powered models.
We have a blog of our activities....A470 Soaring...
My fleet presently consists of a couple of Half Pipes ( 48 & 60" ) a Speedo, a Baudis Banana, a PMP Hawk in Red Arrow livery and a small Flyingwings Spook foamie.
I've tried flat field DLGing and bungee launching but neither ticked the boxes for me....I much sooner be on the slopes.
