Afternoon Everyone. I was using my Futaba FF9 transmitter and for some reason it stopped working, but if i left the transmitter turned on and took the module out the back and put it back in again it would work perfect, but i was not happy with this so i have just brought a 2nd hand Frsky 2.4g module and 8 receivers to replace mine and after yesterday morning of changing the receivers over and setting them up with the transmitter/ module it seems 100% better, will be trying and flying this afternoon, so will let you know how it all goes has anyone else had this with the FF9 transmitter ??

Hi Jason.
It is a good idea to regularly unplug and insert all such mechanical connectors (to wipe the connecting surfaces). I have known of the same thing happening with crystals and, ironically, an FrSky Tx module. The hackers module I used was connected to a multiplex plug and socket though, so nothing to do with the quality of FrSky gear.
I really rate the FrSky stuff. Unbeatable in any practical respect, in my opinion.
Best of luck,
Jef

Moving to 2.4 is always a good step I reckon - no more frequency clashes, but best of all, no more fishing rod jokes...

DSM2 systems have just been outlawed by the EU.
Not sure if this applies to the sale of or use of the equipment.
Can anyone enlighten us further?
