Invited by Jason to visit this website dedicated to what I like much : gliders and gliding,I introduce myself : Marc Hecquet , from France, mostly interested in scale vintage gliders . See SSUK or Retroplane websites to see my sailplanes ( for instance : MILAN czech glider 1934 on both sites ) I also fly all types of gliders, electric or modern scale . My GlidersPicture on top shows my last glider : all varnished plywood Nord 2000 at 1:3,5 scale, 4,30m

Hi Jason, as you can see, I don't fly only vintage sailplanes... ( ventus 2CX 6m HFmodel) Next month, I am to complete a Stingray, a 3m full aerobatic all moulded glider. I will post about it regards Marc The Stingray here :

Hi Jason, Aerotowing is more safe for the Ventus ! The Stingray will be fitted with an electric motor and used everywhere ! Marc

A 2,4m wingspan tug with a 3W 56 motor is successful but safer with a bigger one, the ventus weights 12kg

I was going to say it would have to be a larger powered tug, has your club got a 100cc or bigger tugs ?
